07_EXPERIENCE

Liane is an experienced attorney, award-winning journalist and lecturer who has reported for local and national television news, print and magazine outlets across the country. She is also an adjunct professor of Law and Ethics at Northwestern University.

 

 Liane's research and reporting focuses on gender, race, social and criminal justice issues.

In addition, Liane writes, speaks and consults on diversity and inclusion, implicit bias, gender equity, cultural competence and anti-racism for affinity groups, educational institutions and organizations of all sizes. She currently serves as a columnist and assistant managing editor at the ABA Journal, the national legal affairs magazine of the American Bar Association. Liane also works with pro bono legal service organizations in the areas of domestic abuse, family law and children's advocacy.
